U.S. National Teams
2004 will mark the debut of the United States on the international tchoukball scene. In April, the men’s and women’s teams will gather in Washington, D.C. for an International Tchoukball Exhibition and Festival, which will include friendly matches with Italian, Swiss, and Canadian players. In August, these teams will travel to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, to take part in the Tchoukball World Tournament 2004, combining their numbers for their entry in the mixed tournament.
The men’s team (Pierre-Alain Girardin, coach; Sean McMullen, assistant coach) trains in the Washington, D.C. area; the women’s squad trains in greater Los Angeles. Visit this site as the year progresses for more information, rosters, and pictures of the teams in training!
