USTBA Mission Statement
We seek to direct and advance the sport of tchoukball by development of the sport at the local, regional and national levels. We want to encourage the practice of tchoukball by all people and sharing of the values of the sport.
Vision Statement
To develop and promote the spirit of Tchoukball and the principles of its founder Dr. Hermann Brandt (1897 - 1972), especially Dr. Brandt’s idea that “the objective of human physical activities is not to make champions, but rather to help construct a harmonious society”.
Core Objectives
The Core Objectives of the USTBA are:
- To respect and promote the idea that tchoukball was invented to give the great number of individuals with different levels of ability the opportunity to play the game;
- To encourage and support junior players for the purpose of increasing the participation of youth in all aspects of the sport of tchoukball;
- To prepare teams to participate in the FITB World Tchoukball Tournament and other international events sponsored by FITB and other national governing bodies;
- To represent the United States internationally and domestically in the sport of tchoukball;
- To develop, publicize and enforce uniform interpretation of the Rules of the Game and the Charter of Tchoukball which shall be applicable to all USTBA state associations and participating clubs.
